For the safety of yourself and your loved ones, we recommend that you have us re-calibrate your Sober Check SC3000 every 6-12 months under normal personal use. However, re-calibration might be needed more or less frequently depending on the quantity of alcohol registered by the sensor.
You will be able to easily recognise the need to have your unit re-calibrated, because the unit will give significantly higher or lower than usual measurements.
