Breathalyser Unit Re-Calibration
CQ Breathalyser’s re-calibration service is important to ensure the ongoing accuracy and reliability of your breathalyser testing device.
Calibration is when a device’s accuracy is made to be as close as possible to a standard device. This is done to make sure that the measurements taken all have the same baseline, therefore are all correct.
All breathalysers use a sensor to measure breath alcohol levels and after a period of time the use of your breathalyser will cause the stored levels in your device to change, causing your blood alcohol consumption reading to be effected by previous results. Re-calibration returns the breathalyser’s memory to its original standards ensuring the continuous use of your breathalyser returns the correct result every time.
Payment for you re-calibration service is required before your device can be returned.
Personal Breathalysers –
Sober Check SC3000
It is recommended that the Sober Check SC3000 be re-calibrated every 6-12 months.
The unit will indicate to you that it requires calibrating by producing readings that are essentially higher or lower than you are accustomed to.

It is recommended that the Sober Check SC5000 be re-calibrated every 6-12 months.
The unit will indicate to you that it requires calibrating by producing readings that are essentially higher or lower than you are accustomed to.

It is recommended that the AlcoCheck FC90 be re-calibrated every 6 months.

Lifeloc LifeGuard
When using the LifeGuard for personal testing, it is recommended re-calibration to be carried out every 6 months or 500 tests whichever comes first.

It is recommended to calibrate your AlcoSense Stealth breathalyser every 6 months or 500 tests, which every comes first.

it is recommended that the AlcoCheck FC300e be re-calibrated every 6 months.
$110 + GST and includes Calibration Certificate (and Re-Cal Sticker).
Lifeloc FC10 Plus
With the FC 10 Plus it is recommended that re-calibration be carried out every 6 months or 1,000 tests.

With the FC 20 it is recommended that re-calibration be carried out every 6 months or 1,000 tests.

It is recommended that the SoberPoint Wall-Mounted Breathalyser be re-calibrated every 800 to 1,000 tests.
